About

PAC Art is a contemporary arts organization committed to fostering meaningful dialogue between Houston and international arts communities. Established in 2022 under the umbrella of the Paola Creixell art collection, PAC Art began by offering warehouse space to artists in need and quickly evolved into a dynamic incubator connecting Houston to the global art ecosystem. Today, PAC Art supports artists through studio space, resources, and curatorial guidance, advancing both their professional and creative development.

Driven by a mission to champion rigorous artistic exploration and experimentation, PAC Art places strong emphasis on process. It provides an environment where artists can take risks, refine ideas, and push the boundaries of their practice. Through residencies, exhibitions, and offsite projects, PAC Art offers time, space, and critical support for the thoughtful development of new work. Hosting up to three participants at a time and alternating between local and international residencies, the program nurtures a diverse and interconnected artistic community rooted in Houston’s distinctive cultural landscape.

At PAC Art, we are committed to fostering a secure, artist-driven environment that nurtures a deep sense of belonging, care, and familial connection—strengthening artistic communities through trust, integrity, and meaningful collaborations with institutions and community-based initiatives.

PAC Art unveiled a new, expanded facility at 1919 Whitney Street in the heart of Montrose in January 2026. The 6,276-square-foot venue features dedicated studios, exhibition areas, a library, and flexible public programming spaces. This new location reflects PAC Art’s deepening commitment to cultivating an environment that encourages experimentation, dialogue, and growth within Houston’s rapidly evolving arts scene.
