Opened in February 2024 by Nidia Elorriaga in collaboration with José Noé Suro, Plataforma is a site of cultural exchange destined to ignite conversations between Mexican artists and the global curatorial scene. Estación Material is a contemporary art fair that stands out for its national focus and its commitment to the promotion of contemporary art in Mexico.

The Museo de Arte de Zapopan, located in the Historic Center since 2002, has as its mission to promote reflection, learning and dialogue through contemporary art. Estudio ACME is a mobile exhibition, an itinerant arm of Salón ACME, which adapts to the different contexts where it travels and contains a panorama of local artistic proposals, in dialogue with the work of artists from other regions.

Building dating from the 18th century, it has five temporary exhibition halls, and two halls for rehearsals, concerts, workshops, conferences and literary presentations, music, performing arts and live arts. The venue belongs to the network of spaces of Museums Exhibitions and Galleries of Jalisco.

Independent space for arts and crafts from a non-aligned visual tradition directed by Aldo Álvarez Tostado. It opened its doors in March 2021, in an old restored estate in El Santuario with the aim of disseminating practices under-represented in official and commercial spaces; build collaboration models with other artists from the Global South; and share them with the local and neighborhood community.

In addition to housing the publishing house (founded in 2014) and being a workshop-museum open to the public, it offers specialized design and printing services, teaches typographic and graphic art craft workshops, welcomes artists, printers and amateurs who come to work on their own projects, has a bookstore, an art gallery and a cafeteria.

Independent center for contemporary art directed by Maximiliano Ruelas. Opened in 2024, the complex has a central courtyard, studios, exhibition space and production area, integrated into a renovated house from the early 20th century in the Santa Tere neighborhood. It seeks to be a space for meeting, development and connection between the young artistic community of the city. With individual and collective exhibitions, it proposes a dialogue between different contemporary practices, with a special focus on live arts, installation and sculpture.

Non-profit and independent contemporary art platform, located in the Lafayette neighborhood. Curated by Marco Valtierra, its exhibition program seeks to contribute to the panorama, discussion and dissemination of current artistic production, showing experimental and emerging practices, with a focus on site-specific, processual and research works. At the same time, it develops a public program and has a library specialized in contemporary art.

Opened in 2022 and divided into two levels, the studio-workshop is distinguished by its unique configuration. In the lower part, Karian Amaya develops her artistic projects. In contrast, the upper part integrates a sculptural stone garden on the terrace, where the works find a natural and serene environment for exhibition. In addition, it has a space dedicated to specialized sculpture workshops, where techniques are shared and various creative approaches are explored.

Collaborative ceramic workshop founded in 2021 by Maxine Álvarez designed for the research of native clays and glazes, the development of wheel and modeling techniques, and the learning of experimental firings. They believe in community learning and that, through pause and silence, the potter’s craft can teach about ourselves and reconnect with the environment.
